Bowen therapy, or the Bowen Technique, is a gentle form of bodywork that uses light, precise touches to stimulate the body’s natural healing processes, and focuses on addressing the underlying issue rather than just symptoms.It involves subtle movements on muscles and connective tissues, followed by short rest periods to allow the body to respond and heal. This holistic approach can address a variety of issues, including acute and chronic pain, stress, and respiratory problems. It’s non-invasive and aims to restore balance to the body as well as promoting healing and pain relief.
Pete has lived in Bingie for 20 years and loves the area for its down-to-earth people, natural ecology and of course, the surf! He is an accredited Bowen therapist with over 20 years experience. His approach is pretty simple: he listens to what you need and intuitively adapts the session to fit you. He believes in creating a relaxed and supportive space where you can truly unwind and let the therapy work its magic.
Bingie Bowen is located at 495 Bingie Road, Bingie, NSW. A 12 minute drive from Moruya and Tuross Head.Take the Bingie Road turn off Princes Highway and follow the signs to Bingi Bingi Point. At the T intersection turn right to stay on Bingie Road and after 300m turn left onto a gravel driveway (you will see a Bingie Bowen sign here). After 150m, turn left into my property and park near the big tree. Pete will come out to meet you!
